Logus The BoxNo

To control the funds in the reservation folios, guest's profile folios and sub-folios in Logus, a "Credit limit" mechanism is used. A "Credit limit" is rule that determines the maximum amount of debt (or the minimum deposit amount) on each sub-folio, or on the folios a whole.

Limit management is carried out in the "Administration / Transactions / Credit limits" section:

When creating a reservation, the first credit limit from the list will be applied to reservations folio, so you need to keep in mind that it will be the default limit.

Inside the limit, it is possible to configure the restrictions on the whole folio, or on a separate sub-folio:

In this case, “0” means that all charges on sub-folio "Extra services" are prohibited. To remove accrual restrictions it is necessary to completely clear the value (make the gap empty). A positive value of the limit indicates the maximum amount of debt, for example 1000 will mean that it will be permissible for a guest to close the services for 1000 Euros in this pocket. A negative limit value forms the requirement for a minimum deposit in your pocket. -1000 means that posting on this sub-folio is possible until the balance of the sub-folio reaches -1000 Euros.

To imitate a restriction on posting a guest folio, you can use enormous negative credit limit values.

After all the settings, the credit limit value is displayed on the folio tab:

The restriction indicator is displayed in the form of red credit cards opposite of a name each sub-folio and on the "Folio" tab for a folio as a whole (reflects the restriction on the folio as a whole). To point the mouse to these indicators, you can see the value of the limit.

Permission management

To manage credit limit directories in the role, the permission "Administration / Directories / Tariffs and charges / Credit limits" was introduced.

A permission “Account / Change of credit limit” is responsible for changing the credit limit on the folio card. For posting ignore the limit: "Account / Accrue ignoring credit limits".
